Jalaj Rohtagi
General Manager, InterContinental Marine Drive
Jalaj is a consummate hospitality professional with 19 plus years of experience across sectors and geographies. He started his career in Food & Beverage and transitioned to Sales where, over the years he gained experience in Events, MICE and Room Sales with well established global brands including Hyatt, Starwood, Marriott.
He played a Pivotal role in establishing the Palladium hotel and was a part of the hotels conversion to the St. Regis Mumbai as a part of the pre-opening team leading the Sales and Marketing.
His last role was the successful launch of the 396 key Fraser Suites West Bay in Doha, Qatar which was subsequently named Qatar’s Leading Serviced Apartment 2018 by World Travel Awards.
Jalaj leads the InterContinental Marine Drive as General Manager and overlooks all operational aspects of the hotel with the additional responsibility of Operations and Salesfor both The InterContinental Marine Drive as well as the groups boutique luxury resort, The Mansion House, Alibagh.
